Ranking Criteria and Scoring Weights
Each tool receives a composite safety score from 1–5 based on six weighted criteria. The safety score displayed on the homepage uses this methodology.
Score Mapping to Safety Ratings
| Score | Rating | Description | Typical architecture |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5/5 | Excellent | Dedicated IP isolation, configurable limits, randomized delays, and spintax all present | Desktop app with proxy or cloud with dedicated residential IP |
| 4/5 | Good | Dedicated IP and configurable limits; minor gaps in personalization or warm-up automation | Cloud with dedicated IP per account |
| 3/5 | Moderate | Partially isolated session; extension-based with safety controls | Browser extension with proprietary safety layer |
| 2/5 | Risky | Shared IP pools or minimal velocity controls | Cloud with shared IP pool |
| 1/5 | High Risk | Session injection, no delay randomization, no configurable limits | Simple Chrome extension with no safety layer |
Data Sources
- Tool pricing: Scraped from each tool's official pricing page. Date of last verification noted on the main comparison table. We do not use pricing from third-party aggregators.
- Architecture documentation: From each tool's official technical documentation, help center, and published blog posts describing their safety infrastructure.
- LinkedIn action limits: Synthesized from LinkedIn's published Help Center guidance and community-tracked enforcement data. LinkedIn does not publish official numeric limits; limits reflect observed enforcement behavior.
- Restriction rate statistics: Community data from LinkedIn automation practitioner forums and vendor-published claims. Treated as directional indicators, not precise measurements. Sources noted where cited.
- G2 and review aggregate scores: G2 publicly available rating data. Scores cited reflect the rating at time of editorial review.
- Restriction rate estimates: Community-tracked data from LinkedIn automation practitioner communities and vendor-published claims. We publish 90-day restriction rate estimates by tool and architecture type on the main ranking page. These are directional ranges — not precise measurements — and are labeled accordingly. Sources are noted inline.
- User review quotes: Verbatim quotes from G2, Trustpilot, and Capterra verified reviewers. Quoted with reviewer role and approximate date. We do not quote unverified sources or anonymous forum posts.
What We Do Not Include
The current evaluation covers 8 tools: Linked Helper, Expandi, Dripify, HeyReach, Skylead, SalesRobot, Zeekeo, and Waalaxy. This set is reviewed quarterly and expanded when tools meet the inclusion threshold below.
We do not include tools in our evaluation that: have fewer than 500 verified users, lack documented safety architecture, have discontinued active development, or operate primarily as spam or scraped-contact tools.
We do not rank based on affiliate commission rates. Some tools offer affiliate programs; this does not affect their ranking. Tools with no affiliate program (or lower commissions) are not penalized. See our Editorial Policy for the full conflict of interest framework.
Update Schedule
Pricing data: reviewed monthly. Safety scores: reviewed when tools announce architectural changes. Full ranking: reviewed quarterly. Tools can submit factual corrections via the contact form — corrections are published within 5 business days if verified.
